Your Hugs

Your hugs are like a warm blanket

Hold me tightly, it’s my last goodbye

For it’s my mind that’s letting me down

When the earth consumes me, do not forget

The times we shared when I start to slip away

Your hugs are what I’ll remember most when I begin to fall

I can’t escape what’s happening to me

My mind just can’t take control of your memory

For it’s my mind that’s letting me down

Remember me, for I can’t do so

Just hold me tonight, cause there will be no more tomorrows

Your hugs are what keeps me sane tonight, but not forever

Don’t let go of my memory

For I’ll try not forget yours

For it’s my mind that’s letting me down

My final wish is

For you to never let go

Your hugs are what will last forever

For it’s my mind that’s letting me down
