And we're always on our phones

Facetiming

Skyping

Messaging

Neglecting what our ancestors gave us long ago

Our initial means of communication

Paper and Pencil. 

We live in a nation where by the time we give birth

To the future of our Earth

They will be even worse because they won't know the worth

The History 

Of Paper and Pencil.

Technology is so advanced that by then they won't recieve the chance to pick up 

A sheet of Paper and a Pencil.

Some today only write once

But our children will never write at all

Unless we limit the strain

That like a camera captures us all.
