You See That Girl.

You see that girl,

She paints a picture with her expensive brush,

She draws with her expensive pencil,

She writes a book with swift taps on her expensive keypad,

Expensive,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because it’s all expensive,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because of all the money,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because of all the gifts,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because of all the friends,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because of all the love,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because of all the beautiful clothes,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because of the pretty hair,

You see that girl,

She seems happy,

Because of the pretty eyes,

You see that girl,

She seems her happy,

Because she’s smart,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

Because she doesn’t like expensive,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

Because money doesn’t matter,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

Because she doesn’t like the gifts,

Not because she’s picky,

Yet because no one understands what she wants,

What she is,

What she likes,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

Because her friends don’t understand,

Because they’re all pretty,

And she’s not,

You see that girl,

She’s can never be happy,

Because she can not feel the love,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

She doesn’t like the pretty clothes,

They don’t suit her,

They aren’t her type of clothes,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

Because she doesn’t, like her hair,

Because she thinks it’s too plain,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

She doesn’t like her eyes,

Because of the dark circles under,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

Because she knows she’s stupid,

Because of what her teachers tell her,

Because of her grades,

You see that girl,

She’s not happy,

Because she’s broken

Because she’s always sad,

Because she has convinced herself of all the bad,

Because she just cannot see the good,

You see that girl,

She thinks she can never be happy,

She knows she can never be happy,

She is too aware,

She is too broken,

Do you see this girl now?
