You Never Know How Strong You Are, Until Being Strong Is The Only Choice You Have.

Location

When she was 6, she said she wanted to be a princess.

You laughed in her face and told her it could never be.

When she was 8, she ran up to you to show you her art project.

You looked at with disgust and said someone blind could do it better.

When she was 11, your 'boy toy' hit her.

You just sat back and watched..told her to learn to defend herself.

When she was 14, you threw her out on the streets.

You called her a disgrace and banned her from your home.

When she was 16, she sat at your door step in tears, begging you to take her back.

You landed a slap on her cheek and wished things upon her that I dare not say.

Today, she's 17, independent, reliable, and extroverted as ever.

Something you aren't.
