You and I

Location

Many of times I have kissed you and you've not even known. I have held you when you cried. Whispered I love you when you hurt. Prayed for you like a wife should. Even though you are there and I am here. I am Covering my head at all times. When I pray, your name spills from my lips. Loving you more than myself. I have cooked your meals to perfection. Filled your heart with laughter from my corny jokes. I have made you late for work, sometimes on purpose other times on mistake. Stared in your eyes as you driffted to sleep and even sang you a lullaby. Wrote down our children's names. Wrote down our 10 year plan. Wrote down the vision that we shared while holding eachother's hand. I have kissed your forehead, when those mean headaches bothered you. Prayed for the Creator to heal you, when your body became too sick and weak to kneel and pray. Calmed the raging sea in you when your anger threatened to steal your joy. Reassured you that the Elohim we serve will give us more than we deserve or ever need. I gave you my heart. You gave me your vow to never leave me nor forsake me. I gave you my trust. You gave me your promise that I am yours and you are mine-forever. We've never met, we've never touched, yet still we hold all of these things in our hearts. You and I
