You

When I first looked at you

It was as if the earth stopped

My heart raced

The speed of light does not compare to how fast you captivated my eyes

Your smile

Your laugh

Your jokes

You

You had humility written all over you

But love inscribed into your soul

When you sang it was as if my body froze in time

Your free spirit and jovial personality would put a smile on anyone's face

I dreamt of these moments for years

I waited on you, although everyone said that love would not come knocking on my door

I prayed for you. Having faith that God will see me through

I lived to say the words

I Love You

And died when you said you loved me too
