Yes

I asked you again, just looking for a yes.

You told me to go away,

but i couldn't, i have to stay.

I followed you back to your house,

I didn't mean to stalk you,

but i couldn't belive your words to be true.

I know you want me, as much as i want you.

No matter how many times you turn your back

I know you're the only thing my life lacks.

My days are empty and sad.

With you i have a lover,

and a reason to put one foot in front of the other.

Im surrounded on all sides by endless black.

You are the candle in my night.

You are the only reason i fight.

But i cant fight for someone who doesnt want me.

I cant go on living for someone i cant call mine.

You don't have to say yes, just give me a sign.

Ill chase you as long as i need to.

You said yes to everyone else just fine,

Why am I the only one not allowed to get mine.

I've been running for far too long,

Am i really such a pest?

I just want you, happiness, like the rest.
