A World of Peace

Peace is a goal we all seem to strive for, yet we are yet to even come close on a global scale.

Peace is a goal men and women die for, yet as hard as we try it seems that we fail.

What is the barrier that keeps us from all we've progressed?

Who is to blame for all the times we've regressed?

Money, violence, inanimate objects, fear, hatred, what is to blame?

To look back honestly, is to feel a bit of shame.

Angry beings, have angry thoughts.

Think of all the meaningless battles you, yourself have fought.

Getting angry when you drive, losing your temper at a game,

Taking frustrations out on others, all humans react the same.

Emotion makes us moral, but we have to clear our minds.

Think only in a positive light, and leave our pasts behind.

Negativity comes in all forms, from this we must disconnect.

We must learn to love all life, and treat each with respect.

Peace doesn't come without a price, you may have to stop and breathe.

Walking away from all negative thoughts, is how you will be free.
