Why are lies so easy to tell, and truth so hard to say

Lies just give you more to remember and eventually you give it away

Do people even realize the damage lies can do?

People deserve the truth and not lies from you

Everybody lies, but why is that so

Isn’t that something I would like to know

Wouldn’t you like to live in a world where everyone is trusted

Not a world with evil like ours all busted

A time where everyone was honest I would miss

But that hasn’t happened, and I don’t want to live in a world like this

Nobody deserves to be lied to, so just give it up

Because lying is too easy but being honest is pretty tough
