Wonderland

Deep underground,
miles down
is a world non understand.
The crystalline skies
the rainbow flies
the sign says Wonderland.
See the rabbit hole
the life they stole
Alice of the blue.
The chessboard is red and white
both sides ready to fight
Neutral Alice is confused.
The White Knight talks in reverse
the Red Queen's ordered his hearse,
if Alice speaks the truth,
she'll follow the trail of the first.
Now Logic is six feet under
Reason is cracked and sundered
and Alice stands upon the grave.
Light withers and dies
Time flows on by
there, Alice sits and waves.
Now Time has stopped
the teacups' dropped
the world sits at six.
Two more days
Hell is made
nothing in Wonderland to fix.
Devoid of light
it's a never ending fight
go back up the rabbit hole.
Covered in dirt and grime
get back to Time
return to the life they stole.
Deep underground,
miles down
is a world none understand.
Where decency dies
and everyone lies
the sign says Wonderland.
They all look so real
your life they'll steal
do anything to make you stay.
Look too far down
and you'll slip and drown,
then they'll carry your head away.
