Wonder

I am amazed at the things I see

The detail that went into creating this world

Is mind blowing to me

The simplest things get my mind racing

Towards the intricate workings of this world

Things can seem simple but they are always complex

Even the grass as artless as it is, is a masterpiece

Full of intricate strokes from a brush

That not everyone can see

But I see the labor that went into each blade of grass

Like twins they are similar

But individuals just the same

Blowing in the wind that comes from the west

Absorbing the light from the reflected blue sky

Breathing in the fresh air

Soaking up water that flows beneath the soil

Growing from the earth like a miraculous creation

Maybe God, Maybe Science

It is irrelevant to me

For I am just amazed

My mind wonders at all the effort

Put towards one little thing

Then to realize that nothing is insignificant

For everything should be looked upon with wonder
