Without, What Would I Be

The stars that fill my skull,

Galaxies within my soul,

Andromeda, are you hiding between my eyes?

Venus, are you the cradle of my demise?

Sounds of the universe echo throughout my being,

Crashes, roars and booms rattle the ear

However to me, they are whispers from somewhere.

These sounds, these melodies

These crimes against, humanity? These expressions

of love?

of fear?

of desire?

of purpose?

These shouts unto the void surround my person, their tendrils,

their whispers soothe my mind.

The same mind that never ceases to need, to cry.

Whispers in space

they echo through eternity,

with endless possibility

I sit.

Here, on this rock

hurtling through a vaccum with no end in sight.

Yet, in this infinite unviverse

there is music.

It is as infinite as the void itself, changing,

creating,

evolving every day.

Without this gem upon creation

The nebulae in my soul would not dance

The black holes within my gut would not devour

The energy of a million suns would cease to fuel me

Without this simple aspect of reality

I would not be where I am today.
