You grab my hand in prayer.

Theres surrender in your eyes,

even though they're closed.

These are the cards we're dealt,

they were never chose...

I remind you of your strength,

even in your weakness.

I hold you together,

while try not to fall to pieces.

The way to hurt someone is to hurt who they love.

You grab my hand in prayer.

From every line in your palm,

to every stich of your matter.

With every look that makes me question what I did right.

I love you beyond physical being...

& now I see what the symbolism of broken means.
