To Wield A Knife

They say
it takes skill
to wield a knife

you have to hold it right
at the right angle
in the right way
at the right time

But you,
I doubted that you had practice
You had,
the clumsiest hands I would ever know.

But when the time came,
-like and expert-
you wedged that knife
into my very soul

Me

I followed your comment to your page. It only seemed right that I read your stuff in return of you taking the time for my work.

It's good stuff, I can really hear your words through your writing. It's got tones of regret, and sadness, I really like it.
