Why I write avant garde poetry?
I write to stimulate the mind, tickle the senses, expand the cerebral horizons, stretch the strings of the corpus callosum, ponder eternity, highlight a thought with my mental Sharpie highlighter, erase the words of negative thinking, or just plain have fun writing a poem. I am glad I am not on a written diet, because it is just food for thought.
