Why I Wish I Was Blind

Location

All day long I fight the good fight against my eyes,

A constant reminder I'm slave to my sight.

What a shame, the content with such snide ties.

I suppose it's time for me to grow wise,

I shall see it differently; the light.

All day long I fight the good fight against my eyes.

It's time I put an end to these sad cries,

All day long my judging makes things not right,

What a shame, the content with such snide ties.

From now on I will see through my dark skies,

I will rise above, exceeding my old height.

All day long I fight the good fight against my eyes.

If I were blind I would see someone's tries

With a renewed heart, another reason to fight.

What a shame, the content with such snide ties.

How I wish I couldn't see these sly lies,

It's human nature to judge others' nights.

All day long I fight the good fight against my eyes,

What a shame, the content with such snide ties.
