I’ve seen the future.

I’ve gazed into the past.

But why do I still exist

After wearing this red cast?

It’s all just an illusion

To keep me from seeing right.

With my blood on the floor and a knife in my hand,

I wonder:

Just what is your command?

Why does my heart still exist

After all I can persist?

I’ve lost your love;

I’m losing my mind.

I just have on question:

Why does my heart still exist?

Even through it all

I still love you.

And even as I fall,

I forget just how I made it through.

Walking across this tightrope,

I try to remember what gives me hope.

No!

Your heart does not exist.

Now

I’ll show you just what you have missed.

A soul worth beating over? No!

A fool when he is sober? No!

My heart knows just what’s right.

Is it you I should fight?

Why does my heart still exist?

I’m asking you now.

I’m beaten like a cow.

I’m trying to find existence.
