Why are you me?

Dear Christina,

Why?

Why didn’t you think?

Why were you so mean?

Why were you so harsh on yourself?

You hated me, you hated yourself.

You hated everything about yourself.

You were selfish, all you cared about was yourself.

You gave up on your appearance, you let yourself go.

You pushed everyone who ever cared about you away.

You couldn’t even stand to look at yourself in the mirror.

Be yourself, don’t change for others.

Be confident, don’t let others bring you down.

You are kind.

You are strong.

You are beautiful.

Love me, love us, love yourself.

With love,

Christina
