Why?

Location

For the rainy days,

Which made her flowers bloom.

For the hugs she gave me,

When I needed them most.

For the years spent suffering,

Before she passed away.

For being the strongest woman,

That I will ever know.

For the simple reason,

She never got to watch me grow.

For the love she showed me,

That sculpted me into whom I am today.

For the one who is my hero,

Who took the pain away.

She is my reason why.

My Nana made me stronger,

Taught me to strive each and every single day,

By taking steps beside me,

Guiding me along the way.

And although I miss her dearly,

There is one thing I surely know,

She has made me stronger,

Something she will never know.
