Who is that friend?

"Who is the friend?"

These words were slipped to me

When the day was to an end

From the one that couldn't see

Just what she could really be.

"All you can do is frown"

One would say every time she was down

I told her that wasn't true

And that there is more to life than being blue.

"Who's the friend who stopped"

Stopped and looked around?

Who is this friend that never made a sound?

But you know that friend is still blue,

"That friend is you."
