Alas! You have changed so much!

What I feared most has occurred,

To think we did so much together,

We looked at each other in awe,

We shared pains, experiences, and emotions.

I have been left here forgotten.

Tears stream down my face,

As I call out your name.

Your shadow grows in size,

You dare not look back.

Not even think about me.

My pain grows inside,

The iron curtain draws,

Solitude is my name.

Together is a thing of the past.

What are you?

Who are you?

What have you become?
