Where your heart is ...

Job 27:8

For what hope does the godless have when he is cut off,
when God takes away his life?

“Gaining much” all around us ... does that make a hypocrite?

If you have and don’t use it for God ... who supplied you this?

Is a hypocrite an extension of own will ... as it you obeyed

and for whose glory it is used ... and on whose priority list?

“Like your father the devil” ... Jesus addressed the hypocrite.

“If you gain the whole world”... what will you have accomplished?

If in the process you loose ... what I consider your “own” soul?

What will you have in the end but unanswered cries in the furnace?

It is sometimes understood ... that God sets our timeline.

Somewhere in the unknown it is written when we’ll depart.

Only known to God ... and His son our Savior

as “our” Spirit leaves our body ... to travel off afar.

If Christ is not your Savior ... who then will hear your cry?

If He is not your Redeemer ... where then will you roam?

Will you travel into emptiness ... where hate and anger rules?

The place where tears dry up ... before they find a home?
