The world was so cruel
All the blacks were treated like fools
They were enslaved by whites
They had no civil rights
But now look where they are
They have made it so far
They fought for civil rights
No matter how hard the fight
They won their battle
And are no longer treated like cattle
Look where they are these days
There lives have changed in many ways
They have become equal and free
That's the way the world should always be
