Where I am Buried

They didn't give me a stone

(I didn't want one)

They didn't mark my grave

No name remembered

But that's okay

I wanted this

To be forgotten

Ashes scattered to the wind.

No name left

Forgotten by the world

My passing unmarked

No stone for me

I was unknown and unremarked in life

Why should I be any different in death?

There's no grave for me

No flowers left behind

Just a memory

Faded with time

No stone for me

I'm dead and forgotten

Nothing left

No name, no history

That's where they buried me

That's where I'll stay

No stone

No name
