When The Rain Comes

Sometimes the sun doesn't shine how you want it,

Sometimes the moon is a little too grey,

Sometimes the clouds scurry forward to steal your joy away.

But no one has ever told you,

See no one has ever told you,

It's the darkest rains that pour the hardest,

The happiest rain that falls on your head.

If you look for the sun, you'll never see the trip that little drop took to say hi just for you and me.

Don't look for what is gone, smile for what is here.

If you think the sky cries, you'll see just a tear.

But the storm is a trip,

The lightning his announcement,

The thunder his hello.

So say hi to the rain,

Let the sun come another day,

And allow the rain to say hello.
