When I first saw you,

Your head was down

Your eyes were stained red, and leaking

They were leaking, something that smelt like pain, or fear.

But resembled a broken heart.

As you stood there

Something hit the grown

I could have sworn it was my heart

But it looked like water and it was over by you,

So I thought I would tell you, “Hey you dropped something”

But when I looked again it was gone,

And so were you.

I think you took my heart with you.

And I feel a bit lost without it

I think I need it back,

Or maybe I just need you but

I only hope it didn’t bring you more pain.
