What's Needed for Change

Location

Change.

Everyone wants it. Even me.

But then I think about what I must exchange,

In order for my change to be.

I don’t want any hate,

But if everyone can only love,

Then how can anybody really know what it is to feel great?

I don’t want any ignorance,

But if everybody knows everything,

Then will anybody really show brilliance?

I don’t want any war,

But if everything is peaceful,

Then wouldn’t there be problems everyone would just ignore?

I don’t want any poverty,

But if everyone is well-off,

Then will anybody be happy with their salary?

The world is not perfect.

I understand.

But we cannot make one change so fast without some side effect.

Let’s take change slow so our world doesn’t turn into Huxley’s, everything bland.
