What Would You Change Scholarship Slam

Of the many things wrong,

I find this one to have a grip on me, strong

We need reform

Let us perform

A societal change

Refute the strange

Animal Agriculture, experimentation and animal testing

All these things happening

By supporting those brands

By wearing the skin

You support and justify abuse

Forcing inhumane treatment into the minds of the young

These animals drowned

Formaldehyde fumes inside classrooms

And For what?

Animals as class projects,

Millions dead, many next

Packaged meat

Bred animals, a terrible feat

Don't you see?

Killing the bee

Teaching children murder

Layering graphic images into the minds of 5th grader

They choose to lose

They chose abuse

They drink raped milk,

Wear silk

They cook the skin

Destroy the kin

They eat the cheese

become obese

Humans are so cruel

Enslave the mule

They call others mad

Even after the meal they had

Justifying murder

This planet's life shorter

Humans are so cruel

Yet the radical are the ones who care

Those who disagree

Those who want some victory

They call us crazy

But have you ...seen us all lately?

Listing problems is easy

I know this isn't breezy

Still we must try

Before we are forced  to say...goodbye
