We live in a world of confused kids

Confused adults, love comes ,love goes

We live in a world where hate comes before love,

We live in a world where you don't really know

who you can trust and call on your bad days, better yet your good days.

 

We live in a world where being to good is the new style,

We live in a world where judgment flourishes and 

Hatred is recycled more than plastic or paper.

 

We live in world where people are killed

Because of who they really are and their beliefs--

However, we're taught to speak our minds and love all people, so ..

Why are people killing one another over these things?

Where does this hatred stem from?

We live in a world that is supposed to be all about money

Many people, like myself, claim they hate money and its motives,

But why are we striving so hard to get it? When we get what we want,

Who are we trying to impress? Ourselves ? Or others?

We live in a world of depressed ,stuck people who prey on whoever they can, 

And they take lives just because they don't have their own.

 

We live in a world where people say things like

"He's gay because he was raised by his mom."

We live in a world where people are so held back ,

and conforming is horrible. 

Freedom is limited.

The world is full of venomous serpents who fill

their childrens' heads with poison and tell them

"Black kids are too ghetto for you" or

"White kids are to stuck up."

We live in a world where black mothers

and white mothers 

and even Hispanic mothers get pregnant young, and instead of people

supporting them and helping them out, they blame

these girls for their pregnancies and make it seem as

if the babies are a misfortune.

We live in a world where young girls feel they have to be stuck up or

wear a lot of makeup to feel pretty.

Some young girls have no morals,

or female role models ,which leaves them

feeling like they have nowhere to go.

Girls witness this constant body image, flat stomach and a big butt,

that girls see and they want so bad,all because the boys love it, 

and they need their attention.

The world is full of lost people and it's ridiculous.

 

We live in a world where young boys,

black and any race, are killing 

each other over money or simply

because of a dumb argument.

These young boys that say

"money over b******" or "bros before h***." 

Where do you young men get this mindset?

Boys are taught that love and emotions 

are soft, and they are obligated to be tough.

These young rappers and producers and such shame women often,

but how would they react if someone was

to disrespect their mothers? Sisters?

Daughters? It's all a mystery. 

A child can't even go outside without the fear of them

being murdered or kidnapped. Parks are vacant most days

because of these things.

 

We live in a world where pride stands on its on two feet

and knocks over the most important relationships.

Pride is a killer and having too much of it is never good.

We live in a world where you can't even let your guard down,

because when you do, you'll be exposed or laughed at; It's quite scary.

In this world, many have yet to find happiness, and suicide is 

becoming a common response to things.

 

We live in a world where adults

don't know how to be adults, and they can't 

take care of their responsibilities because

they're too worried about having fun 

at the club with their friends.

We live in a world where dads and mothers abandon their kids

and leave them for dead because they just don't care enough

or they don't feel they can handle being a parent.

We live in a world where parents are bad influences on their kids,

and they convince them to do horrible things

 

We live in a world where there will always be hatred,

always be bitterness, always be injustice, but it is up to us

to discover the love in all of our actions. 

We must love ourselves before trying to love others,

we mustn't search for love in incorrect places, we mustn't be

too prideful or cocky, we must care for one another and

we must show it. We have to be strong as a people and realize

our faults, and learn from them. We must be great 

for us and for future generations. Let's do this right.
