What Never Was

Location

Their was a time when I was small

The flowers standing proud and tall

I would walk amongst the blades of grass that were taller then I

And the house beneath the tree 'twas mine

How the world has changed from what it once was

My heart fills with sorrow, it cries, it must

The flying companions that I myself have known

Are now beneath me their souls unknown

The warm breeze whispers in my ears

This wind that I hold so dear

Many things will never change no matter how much the world does

My love for nature and my ever glowing sun

Now it's time to leave what was

I hold no memory, I leave, I must...
