What Is That In My Mirror

A delicate dawn

that hides behind the murky mist of the soul

confuse your look

and let us see only what disturbs us

while that little voice in the background asks us for mercy

the standards of your society do not allow you to see the truth

and within you the doubt begins to arise

what is this i'm seeing in front of me.

the skin you inhabit begins to burn

Wondering why you don't look like the bodies around

but little do you know

that what hides that shell is one of a kind

a unique jewel

terrified hidden in the shadow

she is a beauty but you don't know

You are very distracted looking for your beauty outside

and forget the value you hide.

what is that in my mirror

I don't recognize that figure
