What Lies Inside

You'll never see who I truly am.
I am much more than the nectarous girl that stands before you.
All the smiles and laughs candycoated
To ensure you can't see the monster inside.
The twisted thoughts, the poisonous antics
That lie inside my head,
Waiting to pour out when I am alone.
You see what I want you to see
You'll never see who I truly am.
