And so I guess that’s what it means to be in love

Not that we never fight, or that I love everything about you

(Do believe that I will always protect you from any harm this world may bring)

But that I will stick with you even in the worst of times

Because I will always love you more than you could ever hate yourself

I won’t list the things I love about you

Because if someone were to read this poem

They’d fall in love with you too

If you could see yourself

The way I see you

Maybe you’d learn to love yourself too

You can’t seem to understand why I’d ever love you

I hope this powerful intangible force will be enough to keep you happy

Maybe we were born from the same star
