The enduring love of my grandparents' hands
Held within one another as they commit to stand
Throughout the hardship and sufferings of current and past
To uphold a legacy that will infinitely last

A legacy of love and commitment
Through trial and pain
To stand beside eachother
In misfortune and gain
To always give to their family and church
To seek a greater purpose beyond what's of this earth
To work faithfully and humbly and enjoy the little things
Like card games, cooking and sometimes even fishing
But its all more than just that you see
Its the love for one another and the intimacy that speaks
