I used to know the warm embrace she used to give.
I used to know the wrinkled face she used to have.
I used to know the tender kiss upon my cheek as I napped.
I used to know that beautiful high pitched laugh.
I used to know the smell of her apple pies fresh on the counter.
I used to know the way she made me felt like I was her sister.
I used to feel her pain after she came home with cancer.
I used to know her, my mother, but my heart shall never forget her.
