We’re rich, and posh, really fancy

We can afford to blow all our money

On things that were never necessary.

And then other things that we see.

We’re a city of politics,

Debating others just for kicks.

Talking to supporters and critics

And reading on government antics

We’re a city of knowledge

Universities and museums on the cutting edge,

And organizations that pledge,

To end inaccuracy and misknowledge.
