Washington Blvd.
years of my life viewing Washington Blvd. from a car-
a sweaty bear upon the bathroom that I drew
murals upon uninvasive species propogated for nothing
never any knowledge of the teenagers, the single mothers, the former linemen
inhaling antivenom, never a neon blue flicker through tinted windows
til 5:24 am
I peak out from behind my curtains, stalking the light with fear like a cat
I am driving myself to nude, fetal naps
she hides me from the news.
