The Voice of Flowers

All of creation
holds
an abundance of
gorgeous gifts-
an overflow of magical
exuberance-
none are foremost
though some are special.
And so it is
with these givers of
solace and
joy
these rainbow- hued
petaled jewels
visited by butterflies
- equally stunning.
They are the glory
of any garden
an accompaniment of lovers,
catalyst for poets, artists.
Were they to speak
would it be as the sound
of-
Heavenly harps
or the voice of angels,
of some raidiant, fairy-like being?
Would it be a tinkling
of celestial music
a likeness of violin and flute?
I feel it would exceed
any mortal orchestra
any maestro's most
pinnacled
oevre.
Lulling to our ears
bearing us beyond
even a beautific
bliss.
