Venom

If you

Kiss me like that

I won't  be able to breathe

If you

Love me like that

Will I be able to scream?

He speaks to me in riddled tongues

Flicking, forking, leaving no song unsung

And it's beautiful, the glint in his eye

As he tells me, "There is no greater gentleman than I."

"Cry unto me, o savior of mine,

Cry for me, in my name let your tears shine."

Save you, break me

In a loop of endess ecstasy

Gently, lovingly, the venom fills my brain

And with it: I go slowly insane

Imagining that the red on my shirt is from the wine

And that the bruises speak not of a snake; curséd, vulpine

And I cry as he commands

In a love so gruesome, yet so grand

I can't help but stay-- hurt me, help you

In agony? In bliss?

In a neverending black and blue

Abyss

I really love the last stanza! A lot of emotion and themes that close out the poem perfectly <3
