The Vampire: A Poor Beast

Location

A warped and revolting creature,

That has many known names ,

fury, wraith, bloodsucker, tormentor, Vampire,

A creature bent on gorging itself on sad, weary, distressed, lost, hapless flesh,

So it can placate or succour itself for its shortcomings,

A total parasite,

A creature so deprived of true nerve or fulfillment that it is almost pitiable,

And pity it needs for it only has Gloom to begin with and Gloom to end,

What a poor twisted beast to dwell in such Tartarus,

How cruel a fate when its hunger is only a cry --- a scream --- that is never ever heard,

For a creature never known well enough.
