The Unexpected

In life everything is unexpected;
There are times I want to grab my hair and pull it all out because things are so frustrating. It might be because I just had a fight with my parents or feel like a complete failure in a certain subject but I try to pull through it since I know life will throw another unexpected thing at me.
There are times when I want to drop to my knees and sob because my heart starts to shatter from losing a boyfriend or best friend. I want to disappear for days but I tuff it out because I know it’s not the end of the world, life will throw something else that is unexpected at me.
There are times when I want to lay in the grass in and relax enjoying the wind.
There are times when my life is full of pure happiness.
There are times when I wish I was still a child. I want to know what it’s like to be happy with all of my siblings again, I want to know what it’s like to play cops and robbers, pretended to be ghost, I know life won’t throw that at me again because we’ve grown.
I want to find true love like Cinderella and dance around the ballroom feeling like I’m floating on air. That I don’t think life will throw at me soon.
But I have realized I have to put all those childish thoughts away and grown up. I need to focus on pursuing my career.
It’s time for me to act like a grown up like I’ve been told.
Good bye my past, good bye fairytales…
Good bye magic and hello real world I am ready for the unexpected.
