Uncertainty is the Worst Feeling

My mind wants one thing
but my heart wants the opposite.
I don't know.
Do I value friendship more
or do I value romance more?
I don't know.
Are we just friends
or are we more than friends?
I don't know.

Uncertainty, is the worst feeling.
It splits you in half, creating an internal war between two very opposite sides.
It's unsolvable in some cases.
You can't decide on a side.
All you can do is sit there, while your heart and your brain fight with each other, tearing you apart piece by piece.
You can't solve it,
because you just don't know the answer.
You just don't know which path is will lead you to happiness.
You just don't know whether you should follow your brain and stay safe, or trust your heart not to get hurt.
You just don't know.

Uncertainty is the worst feeling.
It eats away at you, creating damage that can't be healed, stress that can't be relieved, holes that can't be refilled.
You can't solve it,
because you just don't know the answer.
You just don't know whether or not it's worth it to risk friendship for love,
You just don't know whether or not he actually has feelings for you
You just don't know whether you should follow your brain and stay safe, or trust your heart not to get hurt.
You just don't know.
