The Ugly True Of Growing Up

Mon, 04/08/2019 - 17:10 -- yR21

I remember like it was just yesterday I was a little girl,
In the sunshine, running up and down ,
Turning mud into walls,
Skipping and falling,
Laughing,
Crying,
All I did was play,
Never cared about the date,

But those were my golden days,
I am grown now,
Not a child anymore,
But not yet an adult,
Just a girl going through the journey of life
There were hard times,
That stood out outside,
Before knocking myself to sleep with tears on my eyes,
Hoping the new sun rises fulfilled me with good vibes.

Even Though i gotten older,
Those monster I was told as kid were not a myth,
They were assuredly around walking as humans beings,
I see me,
I see you,
I see lies,
I see cheat,
I see greed,
And all we did .
