The Truth About Ourselves

Location

Most of the time, we cover up what we don't like about ourselves

whether it be our life, the way we look, or hey...maybe even our smells.

I am a victim of it too, I put on makeup almost every day

I wish I had natural beauty, which is what most girls say

Or maybe I just wish I could accept myself the way I am

I wanna be blonde, I wanna be skinnier, I wanna be tan.

We don't see the best parts of ourselves because we cover it up,

truth is, I am what I am and I should embrace this as luck.

I am a tall, fit, brunette with blue eyes

I sometimes have problems that make me want to cry

But I wouldn't be who I am without these flaws

so give yourself a big round of applause.

You are who you are, embrace it.

Don't hide any more, you're the perfect fit.
