Truth About AP English Literature In My High School

Location

Antigone, you’d imagine Things Fall Apart.

But in that Heart of Darkness,

You will find your sea and the light,

Just as you are Awakening from the Darkness.

You have awakened to grasp the importance:

Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence structure, Confidence.

Though you might struggle to succeed,

Just like the Death of a Salesman,

Let the thoughts of failure be the grapes:

Great determination will come,

To overcome these Grapes of Wrath.

In the end, that Scarlet Letter that you see and feel,

Will be the pride, not the shame you will wear.

Things do not fall apart after all,

“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”

"To fail or not to fail, that is the question."
