Train
Location
I'm seated on the train.
I've just left the big city.
The city I came to to lose you.
The city where I thought I could forget you.
And now I'm turning south.
Going toward home again.
And all that reminds me of you.
I'm coming back to you.
And it's really a tragedy.
Because you never come back to me.
And you seemed to have no troubles leaving.
Remember that cold, bitter evening?
And you told me I'd find someone.
Someone I have not found.
I'm not sure who I'm waiting for.
I guess it's you I'm waiting for.
And I'll step off this train.
Onto that rain-covered platform.
And it'll all come back to me.
You'll come back to me. I hope.
I'm still waiting for the day
I see you again.
But that day will never come.
Who are we kidding?
So when I step off this train
And memories of you come flooding in,
Please don't be cruel to me
Like you once were.
I can't take this train ride anymore
Than I could take you walking away.
You left me in a puddle of tears.
Remember?
