Those Written Scribbled Words

Mon, 07/09/2018 - 21:23 -- sveran

What written scribbled words have you prepared

To even the score of endless hoarse screams?

That we creatures cannot seem to repair,

Except in our blissful innocent dreams.

What written scribbled words have you imag’ned

To rid the morning light of nightmares foul?

Epics of knights and heroes and dragons,

And kindness that carries us one more mile.

What written scribbled words have you now said

To new eyes, new souls, new hearts and new mouths?

You have made new paths and trails we now tread,

To build hope, strength, and all manners of wealth.

Those written scribbled words you gave to me,

Will forevermore be your legacy.
