Those Without Faces

Tue, 09/16/2014 - 09:57 -- Nikole

An isolated graveyard

only death to keep his guard

willow trees rustle and moan

grieving for decaying bone

spirits hiding in the mist

just the souls of the pain-kissed

hiding behind name-carved stone

in their lives they were alone

just like me, they had no face

time for me to take my place

I see names that were my own

accepted now that I'm gone
