They had the world

They had the world There once was a boy and a girl they ruled the world They knew the other so wellThe girl was uptight while the boy was funny who loves to tellThey had a bond that they could not break But words spilled that they could not retake The boy went up while the girl went downA gossip all through town The girl drowned in tears The boy ignored her heart all to the end of his years There once was a boy and a girl They once had the world Their love was so well But the world got them to fellThey had the world
