These Scars

Some People hide in the darkness

But I hide within the light

They feel i'm so Righteous

Because I Seem to shine to shine so bright

If they could tell i was, just trying to please

They'd no longer look up at my smile

Instead lift up my sleeves.

Just as God told Abraham to number the stars

I cannot possibly count all of these scars.

But just like you can't have a victim without a possible victory

My Self-caused disasters have made for a better destiny

A destiny that will go down in History
